Don't Let Ants Become A Pest In Your Home Or Business

In Texas, we encounter many types of ants on a daily basis.  While some ants are considered nuisance pests and don’t really do anything but annoy us, others such as fire ants and Pharaoh ants can be a detriment to our health and safety.  And of course, there are the crazy ants which make us question our sanity sometimes.   If you’re home or business has become infested with ants, Modern Pest Control offers ant control in Houston, Katy, and throughout our service area that effectively eliminates ants inside and out.

Our 5 Step Process For Getting Rid Of Ants

Inspection

Though you may have ants in the kitchen, we’ll conduct a thorough inspection of your entire property to see if ants are infesting other areas and where the colony or colonies are located.  We’ll also determine entry points, and conditions conducive to ant infestations.

Cultural, Mechanical & Physical Controls

Sometimes moving a trash can away from the exterior of the structure or directing water away from the foundation of the house can help cut down on ant infestations.  We’ll look at your environment to determine what measures can be implemented to discourage ants.

Customize Plan

Based on our assessment of your property, we’ll determine what type of product(s) should be used and where.  For example, gel baits work great inside structures while liquid products work better outside.

Treatment

A licensed pest control technician will implement the custom plan for your property including treating for ants outside and inside.

Communication & Follow Up

Modern Pest Control works best when we have good communication with our clients.  If ants are still active after we’ve been out to treat, simply give us a call.  If we need to come back out, in most cases we will!
